About The Welding Program

Our 6-month Welding Program is for those with little to no welding experience, but who are serious about building a successful career. You’ll work hard and you’ll be better prepared for the workforce sooner than anywhere else.

You’ll graduate in six months, not only with your Block One Apprenticeship Exam completed but READY to work. We’ll teach you more than what’s required, so you leave with the confidence and skills you need to succeed.

Why Ready Arc's Welding Program?

Our graduates walk away with more tickets in less time than other welding programs.

People who want a path to success in the trades get more out of their training here and graduate better prepared for the welding career they want.

Here’s how we do it.

Condensed Curriculum

We get our students into - or back to - the workforce faster with the opportunity to earn more tickets upon graduation than any other welding program in the Maritimes.

Experienced Instructors

Our instructors boast over a century of combined experience in the industry; they’re welding experts. They’re passionate and equipped with the knowledge and best practices our students need for a successful career.

Industry Involved

Companies around here know we’re serious about graduating job-ready welders and that our curriculum is built to fit today’s industry needs. They know you’ll be getting your hands dirty with the pros in the shop every day, and they look to our welding program students when they need new recruits.

Smaller Classes

Students aren’t numbers here. They have unique needs and skill levels. A smaller class size not only works for us - it works for our students. With this fast-moving course, it's crucial that our students stay on track - and they do it with guidance from our experts every step of the way.

Government-Recognized

We're the real deal: A registered occupational training organization, recognized by the Department of Post Secondary Education, Training and Labour. This also means our students can be eligible for Canada Student Loans and TSD funding.
